Changes for 2022

John • 6 January 2022

The New Year is now in full swing and we are looking forward to what it has in store.

The past 2 years have presented us with new & unexpected challenges due to the pandemic.

Our head office & workshop in Stoke-On-Trent remained open throughout lockdown, providing priority support for the emergency services and, of course, for the haulage, industrial and rail sectors. We were fortunate that most of our team managed to navigate through this period without having to isolate, so our staffing levels remained high for the majority of lockdown.

However, 2022 has presented us with an early challenge as we now have a number of staff off work and in isolation. This may have a small affect on a limited number of our services, however we will endeavour to keep any potential delays to a minimum, so please bear with us over the next week or so.

In the long term we will be implementing some new changes, the first of which is as follows:

Burton Depot

As per our previous updates on the ‘Coronavirus – Covid19’ blog, you will have seen that our satellite depot in Burton has remained closed since the start of the pandemic and our Burton based staff members worked from home, with extra support coming from our head office in Stoke, as & when required. Whilst there were a limited number of challenges in the early stages which were quickly rectified, we feel that we have been able to continue to provide the best possible service to our customer base.

We’ve been successfully operating this way for almost 2 years now and there’s been almost no noticeable difference when compared to our pre-pandemic levels of service.

Therefore, we have now taken the decision to permanently close the Burton depot, with immediate effect.

Rest assured, we remain fully committed to supporting each and every one of our Burton depot’s customers from our head office in Stoke. Our Burton based team members will also continue to work from home and they will be supported by our Stoke team, as and when required.

The Burton telephone number will remain live for the time being and all calls will continue to be automatically diverted to our head office in Stoke.

Going Forward

We have some new & exciting plans over the next 12 months which will enable us to continue to support our customers in the best way that we can.

Our number 1 priority has always been customer satisfaction and that remains unchanged.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

All The Best.

With the advent of the warmer months, reliable vehicle air conditioning becomes essential to keep the driver cool & maintain comfort behind the wheel. Proper maintenance of the air-con system helps to avoid sudden breakdowns during peak heat. However, as with any vehicle component, parts do eventually fail & they will need replacing. When replacing worn out or failed components it is vital that the correct procedures are followed, ensuring that the system operates efficiently & effectively. When replacing the compressor, it is essential to follow the manufacturers guidelines as failure to do so will invalidate any warranty!
